DescriptionArkansas State Seal Coat Button. Circular, convex brass button with shield with lady liberty at the left and ribbons with a Latin inscription on the right. Reverse side of button has a single loop projection. Likely worn by a Confederate officer as a button on a frock coat, significantly larger than a cuff button.
