DescriptionDVD case of the 1993 movie "The Firm," which was written by John Grisham and adapted from his 1991 novel by the same title. Grisham was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and spent part of his childhood in the state before moving. Portions of the film were shot in West Memphis, Arkansas. The DVD cover shows a blue-tinted washed out image of Tom Cruise, who played the lead role of Mitch McDeere, on a black background and has a superimposed image of Cruise running on his face. The print on the cover is white.John Grisham was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on February 8, 1955. Grisham is the author of 30 books and is most well-known for his legal thrillers and portrayal of the rural south in his novel "The Painted House," which is set in Arkansas. He is also known for “A Time to Kill,” “Pelican Brief,” “Runaway Jury,” and “The Firm.”
