    DescriptionPoster from the movie, The Firm. Parts of the movie were filmed in Arkansas. The book, The Firm, was also written by John Grisham who was born in Arkansas and spent part of his childhood in northeast Arkansas.

    John Grisham was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on February 8, 1955. Grisham is the author of 30 books and is most well-known for his legal thrillers and portrayal of the rural south in his novel "The Painted House," which is set in Arkansas. He is also known for “A Time to Kill,” “Pelican Brief,” “Runaway Jury,” and “The Firm.”
