DescriptionCivil War era package of tobacco. The tobacco is unopened in the original packaging. Wrapped in brown paper, the package is rectangular in shape and cover with silver metal foil with blue printed design and text. The text reads "Pure Yellow Bank/Tobacco/Wm. H. Goodwin & Co./ 207 & 209 Water St. New York." At the center of the design is a large tobacco leaf. The back of the package also has blue printing, but it is worn and illegible.
