Front covers depicts Cash looking away towards a lake during sunset with trees and grass in the background. Cash is standing playing his guitar leaning backwards on a wooden post with bobwire. Cash is wearing brown leather jacket with fringe on the sleeves. The guitar is strapped around his neck with a leather guitar strap. "Johnny Cash sings" is in white lettering and "Hank Williams" is in blue lettering in a rust orange rectangle block that runs the width of the cover. The back contains a grey guitar drawing and song titles with a biography of Cash in black lettering on a white background.

    Johnny Cash was born John R. Cash on February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas and raised in Dyess, Arkansas. Nicknamed “The Man in Black”, he was a singer/songwriter, actor and author (writing two autobiographies). He acted in both movies and television (including his own variety show, The Johnny Cash Show). Cash died September 12, 2003.
