DescriptionLouis Jordan's suit with jacket and pants. The two buttoned jacket is charcoal gray and contains three pockets in front, two on left side. The inside has black fabric and two pockets, one on each side with a button on right side. A tag has been removed from the left inside pocket. The buttons are marbled gray.

Louis Jordan was born July 8, 1908 in Brinkley, Arkansas. He was an African-American musician, singer and song writer. He briefly attended Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, majoring in music. Although he could play a variety of instruments, he was best known for his saxophone playing and was nicknamed "The King of the Jukebox." He appeared in and sang in a number of movies over the years. Jordan died February 4, 1975.
