DescriptionTwo scraps of irregularly shaped paper, written upon in black ink. Cephas Knowlton has bought slaves from Miles Knowlton named George, Jack, July, Eaty, Hester and child, Violet and child for $1100. The smaller scrap of paper documents payment of $350 for land exchanged between Miles and Cephas.
