DescriptionThe document is printed and written in black ink on blue paper. The document is a land deed for swamp and overflow land. The deed was issued by the State of Arkansas. The deed is a result of an 1850 act to allow AR to reclaim "Swamp Lands." The First page contains information about land acts and Coulter's land. The second page contains more description of the 80 acres in Union County and payment information. Coulter paid $40. The document is signed by Gov. Elias N. Conway and Sec. of State D.B. Greer on Nov 7, 1856. The state seal is embossed. The numbers 476 appear in the upper left corner of the 1st page.
