    DescriptionCarte de visite of Henry A. Kirchner. Kircher was a German-American that served in the 9th Illinois and 12th Missouri Infantry. Kircher served as the St. Claire, Illinois, county Circuit Clerk from 1864-1868. This was used by Kircher as a political ad. Stamped on the front: "Henry A. Kircher Candidate for Circuit Clerk"
