Grant as a union hero. Three leaves of paper printed with black ink and bound at left edge with string. Title page has title and words: "1st Produced at Bryant's Minstrels, New York, and sung by the whole nation". Lettering and engraving of Grant and elaborate patriotic design of letters. Enclosed by border or acanthus motifs. Interior leaves have music and words printed. Back page is "a careful selection of songs and ballads...Wm. Pond and Co..."
