    DescriptionPainting is of Herbert Hoover as a butcher in a Washington deli. He is looking at a giant piece of boloney that reads, "Prohibition" across it in black. The bottom of the painting reads, "Boloney.” Prohibition began in 1920 and ended when Franklin Roosevelt became President in 1933.
