DescriptionThis is a china cup that has an image of the New City Hall, Little Rock, AR building which is labeled underneath the image in black. The image is mostly a frontal side exposing the face right side of the building as well. The building is a combination of light and semi-dark brown with the dome on top casting a black and gray color. There are trees in full bloom with green leaves on both sides of the building. Directly above the building is a white background with a medium blue sky hovering above. The street in front consists of sandy colored dirt. In front of the building in the street are a person driving a carriage and a person driving what appears to be a tractor. There are people walking in the street and a family consisting of a mother holding an umbrella, the father to the right of her, and a little girl facing the building. The image only covers half of the circumference of the mug and has two 1/4 inch wide partly worn gold vertical stripes on either side of the image. The handle also has gold on the outer side that is considerably worn off. Charles Thompson designed City Hall in Little Rock.
