DescriptionHotchkiss artillery shell, 10 pounder, dropped - Jenkins Ferry extraction route. Conical in shape with a white oxidized band of metal (lead) along the center. The base of the shell is rounded, slightly convex, while the nose of the projectile is flat with a drilled fuse hole. The body of the shell is grooved vertically in three places.Status
