DescriptionBrown acoustic guitar owned by Elton Britt. The neck is darker brown and the very top of the neck is black with "the grammar guitar" labeled in bone color. Serial # 1994. The case is black and has yellow fabric. A gentleman named Robert Alexander, who currently resides in California, met Britt around 1970 in Pennsylvania while traveling to New York City. Alexander traded his Gibson acoustic guitar for Britt's because Britt wanted a Gibson. Britt played the song "Jimmie Rodgers Blues" on the Grammar guitar for Alexander and told him that he had recorded the song a few years prior. The guitar was quite popular during that time with recording artists.
