    DescriptionBlack and white photo of Patsy Montana meeting Daniel Boerstein, Librarian of Congress. Patsy is on viewer's left. Daniel is dressed in a tuxedo and bow tie, wearing glasses, and has his left hand on Patsy's right shoulder. An unidentified woman appears in the left background. "83-124A 21A MB" is written in pencil on the back. A stamp imprint in blue says "Photograph by the Library of Congress" on the back.

    Patsy Montana was born Ruby Rose Blevins on October 30, 1908 in Beaudry, Arkansas and grew up near Hope, Arkansas. She was a singer and musician. She performed on various national radio shows including the popular, National Barn Dance”. She also appeared in several movies. Montana died May 3, 1996.
