DescriptionCrazy quilt - multicolored in a zig zag shape. Large diamond-shaped design. Heavy use of pointe russe, popular in Victorian crazy quilts.

The quilt was found in the Thomas Edmonson house at 1612 Maryland Ave when the house was razed in the 1950's. The house was built by Benjamin Thomas in 1869 and was occupied by Benjamin and Laura Thomas until their deaths and then by daughter and the daughter's husband, H.P. Edmonson, until 1920.
