    DescriptionEclipse gas stove - model 220 with oven above and broiler below. Four burners with oven above and broiler below. Detachable shelves. Cast iron with extensive ornamentation. Separate door for oven and broiler. Name, model and manufacture cast into front as part of decoration.

    Arkla Gas Co. sponsored a contest in 1939 to find the oldest gas stove in the area. The winner received a new gas stove (#90 Universal Range) and had their Arkla gas bill paid. This stove was owned by Birdie Riegler and was judged the oldest in the contest.
