DescriptionHotel clerk's desk from the Albert Pike Hotel. It was the hotel's first guest register desk. The Albert Pike Hotel opened in 1929 at 7th and Scott Streets in Little Rock and was immediately declared of the South's finest hotels. It was built in the Italianate/Spanish Revival style by architect Eugene J. Stern of Mann & Stern architectural firm. In 1971 the hotel was sold and after several owners, space now functions as apartments for persons 55 and older.
