DescriptionA calling card case engraved with "M.H.B." on the front and belonging to Mildred Howell Bilheimer. The case is silver and has a 9" long chain link handle attached to the top of the front of the case. Inside of the case, push holders for coins and a bracket for bills are located on the left and a calling card clip is located on the right side. Calling cards were used socially to signify a visit made to a person's home. They were generally left when the owner of the home was absent upon a visit.Status
