    DescriptionDiary kept by Major Edmund Joy when he was in Little Rock at the Old State House. Binding is brown and the cover and back are green and brown marble pattern. Inside the cover is Major Joy's signature. Pages are yellowed and the writing is slightly faded. The cover and binding are also faded. There are 16 sketches in ink and pencil. On the first page is raised seal on the upper left corner: "M.W. West colt Book Seller and Stationer, Keokuk, Iowa" On the back cover is a calendar for January and February that has been written in black ink.
