    DescriptionDVD of Arkansas native, Louis Jordan on BMG Music. The disc is purple with white lettering. The case is black with a black and white photo of Jordan on the front holding his instrument wearing a medium colored sports jacket, white shirt, and black tie. The photo is on a soft blue background. The back of the cover contains brief biography of Jordon and a small black and white photo of him and the Tymphony Five on top right corner. The running time of the disc is 48 minutes.

    Louis Jordan was born July 8, 1908 in Brinkley, Arkansas. He was an African-American musician, singer and song writer. He briefly attended Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, majoring in music. Although he could play a variety of instruments, he was best known for his saxophone playing and was nicknamed "The King of the Jukebox." He appeared in and sang in a number of movies over the years. Jordan died February 4, 1975.
