    DescriptionFlag, 162nd Field Artillery Brigade, 87th Division, World War I. Large, red and double pennant shaped. White numbers include 162 at top and 87 in lower half sewn together in flat stitch across center using gold thread.
    The 162nd F.A. Brigade was organized at Camp Pike. It was led by Brig. Gen. Richmond P. Davis in 1917. They were ordered to France in June, 1918.
    This flag was originally acquired by the aide-de-camp in the brigade headquarters and was used on parade.
