    Description1953 show program of performers in New York. The program listed performers including Arkansas native, Louis Jordan, Ella Fitzgerald, Frankie Lanine, and Woody Herman. The cover is red and black, with white lettering. The cover depicts four black and white images of the names previously mentioned. The program contains the performers and biographies of each. The back is identical to the front.

    Louis Jordan was born July 8, 1908 in Brinkley, Arkansas. He was an African-American musician, singer and song writer. He briefly attended Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock, majoring in music. Although he could play a variety of instruments, he was best known for his saxophone playing and was nicknamed "The King of the Jukebox." He appeared in and sang in a number of movies over the years. Jordan died February 4, 1975.
