The wooden plaque is cut in the shape of the state of Arkansas, with a brass plate screwed into the middle, also cut in the shape of Arkansas. The brass plate is engraved with several lines of text reading:

"BOB HOPE, One of the greatest men in the world, THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES, Presented By, Your friends and fans at, Smith Oil Co., TEXACO, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Razorback Country, Charles 'Andy' Anderson, S.R.
