DescriptionPageant gown worn by former Miss Arkansas Sally Miller. Miller was crowned Miss Pine Bluff 1958 and went on to be crowned Miss Arkansas 1958. She was a top-ten finalist in the Miss America Pageant of the same year. Miller also became the first woman to run the length of the Great Wall of China in 1990.The white gown is made of silk taffeta, tulle, lace and cotton, with a metal zipper in the center back. It is sleeveless, floor-length, and ties in the back at the top of the bustle. The gown has a sewn in slip/ underskirt made of tulle and taffeta.
