DescriptionA red nylon belt with ivory colored plastic donkey clasp worn by Nancy Hall. The donkey on the right side has a loop on the end of the face. the donkey on the left side has a hook on the underside of the face. the belt is fastened by hooking the left side through the loop.

Nancy Johnson Hall (1904–1991) was the first woman in Arkansas to be elected to a constitutional office. Upon the death of her husband C.G. "Crip" Hall in 1961, she was appointed to serve the remainder of his term as secretary of state by Governor Orval Faubus. Hall then went on to be elected as Arkansas state treasurer in 1962, running unopposed in the general election as a Democrat. Hall served as treasurer for 18 years.
