Chuck Berry first performed at Barton Coliseum as part of the "Biggest Show of Stars for '57." Other acts included Clyde McPhatter, Bill Doggett, Crying Tommy Brown, LaVern Baker, The Moonglows, Ann Cole, Charles Brown, The Five Keys, The Five Satins, Eddie Cooley and the Dimples, The School Boys, and Paul Williams. Berry also performed at Barton Coliseum in December of 1971 and 1972, and June of 1977.
