The upper part of the poster features a silhoutte of Johnny Cash in front of an American flag with the title "Johnny Cash 70th Birthday" in black lettering. The reverse side features a black and white headshot of Cash with the title "The Essential Johnny Cash" written in white and yellow lettering.
The lower part of the poster features an advertisement for the sale of various Johnny Cash albums. It contains pictures of CD covers on a black background with all information in white lettering. The reverse side features another advertisment for "The Essential Johnny Cash." All of the text in in white lettering except for the title which is in yellow. A small emblem for Johnny Cash's 70th Birthday is centered at the bottom of the poster.
Johnny Cash was born John R. Cash on February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas and raised in Dyess, Arkansas. Nicknamed “The Man in Black”, he was a singer/songwriter, actor and author (writing two autobiographies). He acted in both movies and television (including his own variety show, The Johnny Cash Show). Cash died September 12, 2003.
