    DescriptionWritten on a piece of cream colored paper, folded in half. Labled "No. 4 Manchester." The document is a contract for the sale of land called "Mabbitts Bluffs" on the "Washitaw River" in Clark County, Arkansas Territory. The document states that the owners have formed themselves into a company to lay off the land they call Manchester They also appointed George Conway as Commissioner. The contract was signed on August 15, 1836 by LA Edmondson, John WIlson, Judah Barrett?, James C. Rupert, George Conway, D.R. Coulter, and D.L. Witten.
