    DescriptionSection of a glass medical vial/tube found during excavation on the grounds of the Old State House. Probably used by medical students when the medical school was housed in the Old State House.

    The Medical Department of the University of Arkansas inhabited the Old State House from 1912-1935. The vial is believed to be from that period. The vial has a lip around the top of the bottle.
