DescriptionGrand Funk Railroad's 1973 album, "We're an American Band."

Grand Funk Railroad performed at Barton Coliseum on February 17, 1973. They also performed at Barton Coliseum in 1970, 1975, and the 2005 and 2015 Arkansas State Fair. The lyrics in the opening stanza of the song "We're an American Band" reference Little Rock native Sweet, Sweet Connie; "Last night in Little Rock put me in a haze/ Sweet, sweet Connie, doin' her act/ She had the whole show and that's a natural fact."
