DescriptionA Christmas card from Governor Asa Hutchinson and First Lady Susan Hutchinson. The front of the card depicts the governor and first lady standing in front of a decorated mantle in the Grand Hall of the Governor's Mansion. The mantle has the word Arkansas engraved on it inside a diamond which also contains 4 stars as well as an outline of stars inside another diamond. The back of the card gives a brief description of the Governor's mansion as well as the Asa hutchinson campaign slogan "Asa for Arkansas!".

William Asa Hutchinson was born on December 3, 1950 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He graduated from Springdale High School in Springdale, Arkansas in 1968. In 1975, Hutchinson received a J.D. from the University Of Arkansas School Of Law in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Prior to attending law school, he met his wife, Susan Burrell, while earning his undergraduate degree at Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina. Hutchinson won his campaign for United States Congressman from the Third District of Arkansas in November 1996 and held his seat until 2000. After resigning from Congress and serving in other federal roles, Hutchinson won his 2014 gubernatorial campaign with fifty-five percent of the vote. While in office, he became a key leader on energy, security and education.
