    DescriptionSheet music is for "G.I. Jive" by Johnny Mercer. Recorded by Johnny Mercer with Paul Weston and his Orchestra. Published by Capitol Songs Inc., of New York in 1943. The cover background is in red with a soldier peeling potatoes dancing with a picture of his girl, and the sargent in haste behind him. The song was the biggest hit of all the songs dealing with soldier life during World War II.
    The back cover has a small stamp advertising to buy war bonds.
