DescriptionA World War II War Stamps poster created in 1942 by the United States Government to support the sale of War Stamps. The poster has a light blue background with a white bubble shaped like a speech bubble above a black rectangle along the bottom of the poster. Inside the black rectangle is a sailor (Navy), solider (Army), and marine (USMC). They are saying, "Say Yes! Take your change in War Stamps." which is the text inside the speech bubble. In the top left corner of the bubble is a gold five-point star.

War Stamps were issued by the United States Treasury Department and sold by the U.S. Post Office Department during WWII as a way to finance the war. The overall goal of war stamps was for the citizens to buy enough stamps that would be able to save up and buy the Series E war bonds.
