    DescriptionA silver spoon with a filigree design on the handle that belonged to Bessie Davis the daughter of Governors Jeff Davis and First Lady Ina Davis. The bowl of the spoon is inscribed with "Camden, Ark." "Bess" is inscribed on the handle and is surrounded by a swirl border.

    Jefferson "Jeff" Davis was born in Rocky Comfort, Arkansas on May 6, 1862 and his wife Ina McKenzie Davis was born on October 6, 1862. Jeff Davis served as the twentieth Governor of Arkansas from 1901 to 1907.
