DescriptionMagnolia, Arkansas native Wally Waits' blue soap box derby helmet. Waits wore this helmet and his racing silks (see 2017.003.08 for more infromation) at the 1960 Arkansas State Soap Box Derby Championship. He went on to win this race and represent Arkansas at the 23rd All-American Soap Box Derby Championship in Akron, Ohio.Status
