    DescriptionA telegram sent from Western Union Telegram during World War I. The top of the telegram has "Western Union. Telegram." in capital black letters in the center of the page with the Western Union logo in-between the lines. Underneath the company name are the names of company President, Newcomb Carlton, and Vice-president George W. E. Adkins. The top left and right corners have a box divided into eleven sections. The first section, "Class of Service," can be divided into four options "Telegram," "Day Letter," "Night Message," and "Night Letter." The second section, "Symbol," corresponds to the "Class of Service Section" and can be divided into three options "Blue" which corresponds with "Day Letter," "Nite" which corresponds to "Night Message," and "NL" which corresponds with "Night Letter." Underneath these options reads the following: "If none of these three symbols appears after the check (number of words) this is telegram. Otherwise its character is indicated by the symbol appearing after the check." "Form 1204" is located in top right corner. The words "Received at" are located on the left hand side where the message would be written. The telegram reads:
