Underneath the White House is "A Woman's Place Is In The White House." in blue thread in a needlepoint stitch. Underneath the phrase is Hillary Clinton’s campaign logo. Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton was born on October 26, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. Aside from being a former first lady of Arkansas and a former first lady of the United States, Hillary held many other political offices. When she was elected as a United State senator from New York, Hillary became the first woman elected to the Senate (2001-2009). She served as Secretary of State during President Barack Obama’s administration (2009-2013). Hillary was the only United States first lady to keep an office in the West Wing, as well as the only first lady to run for president.
