    Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton was born on October 26, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois. Aside from being a former first lady of Arkansas and a former first lady of the United States, Hillary held many other political offices. When she was elected as a United State senator from New York, Hillary became the first woman elected to the Senate. She married her husband, Bill Clinton, in 1974, and their daughter, Chelsea, was born in 1980.
