William Jefferson "Bill" Clinton was born and raised in Hope, Arkansas. He is an alumnus of Georgetown University where he earned a Rhodes Scholarship to attend the University of Oxford. He married Hillary Rodham Clinton, whom he met while they were both attending Yale Law School. Bill Clinton was the Governor of Arkansas from 1979-1981 and from 1983-1992. He was elected as the 42nd President of the United States in 1992 and served two consecutive terms until 2001.

Harry Thomason was born in Hampton, Arkansas in 1940. Thomason is a writer, producer, and director. He wrote and directed “The Hunting of the President,” and produced and directed the television series “Evening Shade,” and “Designing Women.” He was nominated for four primetime Emmys for his work on “Designing Women.”
