DescriptionBlack and white photograph of the cast of the TV sitcom Designing Women (1986-1993). The show was directed by Hampton, Arkansas native Harry Thomason and the opening credits feature two historic houses in Little Rock. The Villa Marre located at 1321 Scott Street and the Governor's Mansion.

Harry Thomason was born in Hampton, Arkansas in 1940. Thomason is a writer, producer, and director. He wrote and directed “The Hunting of the President,” and produced and directed the television series “Evening Shade,” and “Designing Women.” He was nominated for four primetime Emmys for his work on “Designing Women.”
