Gil Gerard was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1943. He did not pursue his acting career until he was 26. He has appeared in 9 movies and numerous TV series. He is most known for his role in “Buck Rogers in the 25st Century.”

A lobby card for "Buck Rogers", a TV movie starring Little Rock native Gil Gerard. "Buck Rogers" is a science fiction movie produced by Universal Studios about a 20th century astronaut revived after 500 years to find Earth threatened by an alien invasion. The lobby card features a still from the movie of Gerard interacting with the aliens with several computer instruments in the background. The photograph is bordered on two sides by a blue background with yellow and white text. "The Hero of Tomorrow is here Today" is to the left of the photograph and "Buck Rogers" followed by a list of cast and crew is situated underneath and to the left of the image.
