DescriptionCabinet card photograph mounted on white matboard of Gov. Jeff Davis' mother, Elizabeth Phillips Davis. The photo was taken by Alexander in Texarkana, Ark. The edges are painted gold.Jefferson "Jeff" Davis was born in Rocky Comfort, Arkansas on May 6, 1862. Davis served as the twentieth Governor of Arkansas from 1901 to 1907.
