Cash in all black. The man in the foreground is wearing a brown hat and has his hands on his hips. Johnny Cash was born February 26, 1932 in Kingsland, Arkansas and raised in Dyess, Arkansas. Nicknamed “The Man in Black”, he was a singer/songwriter, actor and author (writing two autobiographies). He acted in both movies and television (including his own variety show, The Johnny Cash Show). Cash died September 12, 2003.
