    DescriptionHandwritten in black ink on blue tinted and lined paper. The top half of the paper is written in lighter ink. This is an oath of allegiance taken by 15 men. The oath was to the 12th Regiment of Arkansas volunteers, the State of Arkansas, and the Confederate States of America. The document was written by M.J. Mitchell, Recruiting officer. The 12th Regiment was comanded by E.W. Gantt.
