The Wilburn Brothers were an American country duo consisting of Doyle Wilburn and Teddy Wilburn, both natives of Hardy, Arkansas. Beginning in 1937, the brothers attracted attention as child performers in an act called The Wilburn Children. In 1940, they were brought to the Grand Ole Opry, but were forced to leave six months later due to child labor laws. After growing up, they were signed to Decca Records and produced hits including “Sparkling Brown Eyes”, “Go Away With Me”, and “It’s Another World”. The Wilburn Brothers had a television show, The Wilburn Brothers Show, that aired from 1963 to 1974.
