    DescriptionThis letter is handwritten in black ink. It is written on blue lined paper. In the letter A.W. McNeill was trying to reclaim his horse that was lost at the battle at Wilson's Creek. The horse, at the time that the letter was written, was in possession of Capt. Scott. The letter is also signed by N.T. Ingram. Ingram attests to McNeill's ownership of the horse.
