    Lisa Blount was born July 1, 1957 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and grew up in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Blount was an actress and producer. She appeared in over 40 films and TV series. She was best known for her role in the 1982 film “An Officer and a Gentleman,” for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. She also won an Academy Award as a producer for her 2001 film “The Accountant.” Blount died October 25, 2010, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
