Oscar Polk, born in Marianna, Arkansas December 25, 1899, was a film and stage actor. He was best known for his role portraying a servant named “Pork” in the iconic film “Gone with the Wind.” He appeared in 15 plays and 10 films. Polk died January 4, 1949 in New York.

In addition, one of the co-stars was Arkansas native Oscar Polk. This is the classic and best known poster for the iconic film. The poster has a red and orange background with white print. The featured image shows Rhett holding Scarlett with Atlanta burning in the background.
