DescriptionSoldier's claim agent advertising card. This card is for Major John C. Wilber, former commander of the 14th Missouri Cavlary Militia. This regiment was active in Arkansas. Wilber was an attorney and claim agent in St. Louis. He represented soldiers, widows, and heirs on property and financial matters against the Federal government.Status
